#1 Tower of the Clerics

The Tower of the Clerics completed in 1763 was considered the tallest tower in Portugal. Designed by the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, who also designed the adjacent church was classified as a national monument in 1910. It has become a popular tourist attraction for its aerial view of the city. With 76 meters high, will have to climb the 240 steps to reach the top, but believe it will be worth it.

#2 Bridge Louis I

Probably one of the most structure icons in Porto. Drawn by Gustave Eiffel but built before the famous Eiffel Tower, opened in 1886, at the time considered the largest iron arch in the world. Today the subway is at the top while the bottom base is used by cars and pedestrians to move to the side of Vila Nova de Gaia.

You cannot forget to cross the bridge to see the stunning views of the city of Porto.

#3 Oporto Cathedral

The Porto Cathedral or “Sé” was build in the twelfth century, but was only completed in 1737. As a result, the Cathedral has many different types of architectural influences, including Gothic, Romanesque and Baroque. The cathedral is the oldest part of the city and is also one of the oldest churches in the region.
Next to the cathedral you will find the statue of the Pelourinho, the Tower and a Medieval Archaeology Museum, in addition to the great views of the city of Porto. Definitely one of the mandatory items that can not be missed.

#4 Crystal Palace

The original Crystal Palace, built in the nineteenth century, was replaced in 1956 by a sports hall, now being booked for concerts, sporting events and exhibitions.

#5 House of Music

This twelve-story building irregularly designed by world famous architect Rem Koolhaas Pritzker, solely made for musical performances. It was conceived to mark the year 2001, the year that the Port was European Capital of Culture. Currently he is a symbol of Oporto, characterized by their modernity and varied cultural program. Apart from its attractive and complex program, the Music House regularly offers guided tours of the area.

#6 Serralves Museum and Gardens

Serralves is culture, art and nature. If you like modern art, then this is a place not to miss. #7 St. Francisco Church

What seems to be a common construction of the fourteenth century, found within it is the most extraordinary church port. Its style is Gothic and Manueline abroad and a Baroque interior.
The most spectacular is the extensive work of gold. It is said here that there are about 400 kg of gold and today is known as the church lined with gold. Be sure to visit his museum in the catacombs.

#8 Palácio da Bolsa

The Palácio da Bolsa is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Porto. The building and its cathedral are landmarks of the country's best architecture.

#9 Cais da Ribeira

Ribeira consists in medieval streets and decadent alleys. However it is a fascinating place, ending with a square in the "Praça da Ribeira." With traditional boats afloat and colorful old houses, this is the most picturesque of the city and the place that all people love, also declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
Have a refreshing drink in this unique environment and return at night to enjoy the excitement of this zone. There are dozens of cafes, bars and restaurants, sheltered under medieval arches. #10 Park City

TThe City Park is the latest and greatest green area of the city. Its location near the ocean and beaches of Matosinhos, makes it perfect for surfers, runners morning and fans for a picnic weekend.
Apart from the sea and beaches it has other interesting points, such as a house / restaurant (with hot drinks), Water Pavilion, mini golf, soccer and volleyball.
The park is connected by a network of roads (10 km), where you can find places of contemplation or rest, inserted in a rural environment in Porto. It is endowed with a wide diversity of wildlife - ducks, geese, frogs, rabbits and swans - being a rich and diverse flora. In the park, there is a direct access to the sea, with an area of beach’s and cafes.
